With over twenty years of litigation experience in both Massachusetts and Georgia, Joelle is known for her strategic approach, courtroom expertise, and unwavering dedication to achieving favorable outcomes for her clients.

Joelle began her legal career in 1998 as an Assistant District Attorney in Massachusetts, prosecuting both felonies and misdemeanors. In this role, she gained extensive trial experience, argued cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, mentored new attorneys, and drafted appellate briefs, building a strong foundation in litigation and courtroom advocacy. After relocating to Georgia, Joelle continued her prosecutorial work in the Gwinnett County Solicitor General’s Office, ultimately serving as Chief Assistant Solicitor-General. She later served as Deputy Chief Assistant Solicitor-General in DeKalb County, supervising all trial attorneys and managing the office’s vehicular homicide prosecutions, further honing her leadership and trial skills.

Prior to joining Nguyen & Pham, Joelle practiced as an Associate Trial Attorney for a national insurance carrier, focusing on insurance defense litigation throughout Georgia. Her practice included all phases of civil litigation, from initial pleadings to depositions, mediations, and court appearances across counties including Whitfield, Cobb, Fulton, Henry, and Gwinnett.

Joelle earned her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is admitted to practice law in both Georgia and Massachusetts.

Beyond her legal practice, Joelle is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and an active member of the Gwinnett County Bar Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and exploring all that the great state of Georgia has to offer.
